Description
South Munstead Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th century, which was remodelled in the 18th century. It has a timber core that is clad in sandstone rubble, which is partly galleted, and features brick quoins and dressings. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, with a tile-hung gable on the left side. The building has a T-shaped plan with a cross wing on the left. There is a rear ridge stack located to the left of the centre.
The first floor has four leaded casement windows, while the ground floor features three windows with cambered heads and one small casement window on the right side. To the left of the centre, there is a plank door located in a brick porch, which has a depressed arch over the entrance supported by dentilled impost moulding and a keystone. Additionally, there is a hip-roofed extension set back to the left and a wing that extends at right angles to the rear.
