Garage Block At Hascombe Court

The garage block at Hascombe Court, likely built between 1906 and 1907 by J.D. Coleridge, features chauffeur's accommodation. It is depicted on the 1916 Ordnance Survey map. The building has a timber frame clad in weatherboarding and a tiled roof, which is hipped in the center and includes a tall brick chimney stack. Throughout the structure, there are wooden mullioned windows with leaded lights. The layout is L-shaped, primarily single storey, but the center of the south side is two storeys high and includes one four-light window. To the north, there are two parallel one-storey ranges; the western range has two mullioned windows and a doorcase with an oak studded door, while the eastern range features an open canopy supported by wooden piers on two sides. The north side has double doors and a door leading to the upper floor, which is accessed by a simple winder staircase.
