Summer house. 1928-9, part of Percy Cane's garden improvements for Sir John Jarvis Bart. Bargate stone rubble building of ten bays with shingled roof (originally thatched) and open front on wooden supports. Splayed shape. Rear elevation has two wooden mullioned windows with leaded lights. Western part has wooden door, semi-circular arch over stream and stone slab floor, western part has wooden floor. One of a series of five garden buildings at Hascombe Court.
