Description
This building is a garage that was originally a coach house, located to the southwest of Woodmancote Place. The westernmost bay likely dates from the early 19th century, while the other two bays were purpose-built as a garage around 1920. It is constructed of red and brown brick, with the east wall being timber framed and featuring herringbone brick infilling. The roof is tiled and consists of three parallel ranges; the westernmost bay has a half-hipped roof covered with square tiles, and there is a lantern with a hipped roof and a carved finial. The other two bays have hipped roofs. Inside the westernmost bay, the roof is made of pegged rafters without a ridgepiece and includes diagonal braces.
