Description

The Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with 19th-century extensions to the right. The original section is timber-framed and has brick cladding below, with cement render cladding above, and a plain tiled roof. The 19th-century extensions are in brick. The cottage is two storeys high and has a crowstepped stack at the left end, with the extensions stepping up to the right. The original part of the cottage has two casement windows on the first floor and two small windows on the ground floor. A door is located to the left of the centre of the front, sheltered by a gabled porch. The extension has one sash window on the first floor and one window below. A half-glazed door is set under a half-open gabled porch. A pentice extension runs across the rear of the building.
