Description

Woodyers Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th and 17th centuries. It is timber framed with brick infilling, originally colourwashed, and has plain tiled roofs. The central section is single-storey with an attic, featuring three gabled dormers with leaded glazing. A two-storey crosswing extends to the left. The house has a multiple stack to the left and a corbelled stack to the rear right. Diagonal bracing is visible on the first floor of the crosswing, featuring diamond-pane, leaded casement windows on both floors. A stable-style door is located on the ground floor of the wing. The first floor of the main range also has diagonal bracing and three windows on the ground floor, two of which have diamond tracery bars. A plank door, centrally positioned, is sheltered by a hipped porch hood supported on round brick pillars. A pentice extension is located at the left end of the building.
