Description
Tillhouse Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th century. It is timber framed, with a base made of whitewashed brick and whitewashed render infill above, and is tile hung. The left-hand return front features painted weatherboard, while the right-hand return front has a plain tiled roof. The house has two storeys and a stack located to the left of center. There is tension bracing in the center and right-hand bay on the first floor. The first floor has five diamond-pane leaded casement windows, and there are three windows below. A half-glazed door is positioned to the right of center. On the right-hand return front, there are single-storey extensions that project at right angles to the front. The rear of the house consists of three bays with bracing and a pentice on the rear right.
