Description
Piper's Croft is a 17th-century cottage located in Ellens Green, Ewhurst. The building features a timber frame constructed of thin scantling, with whitewashed brick infill at the bottom and weatherboard cladding above. It has a Horsham slab roof that is hipped to the right, with a gablet, and half-hipped to the left. The cottage stands two storeys tall and has a corbelled central stack. On each floor, there are four diamond-pane leaded casement windows. The entrance is centrally located and features a door with a pentice roofed porch made of Horsham slab. There are single-storey brick extensions to the left, which are not considered of special interest.
