Description
Charman Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame with coursed stone cladding at the bottom and alternating bands of fishscale and plain tile hanging above. The roof is half hipped with gablets, covered in plain tiles at the front and Horsham slabs at the rear. There is an offset end stack on the right side. The cottage has two storeys and includes two diamond pane leaded casement windows on the first floor. A ribbed door is set in an open gabled timber porch with wooden supports, located to the right of the center. Additionally, there is a pentice roof extension at the left end and a single-storey extension at the rear.
