Description
Leather Bottle Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Nutfield Marsh Road in Nutfield. The cottage is timber framed and sits on a rendered plinth. The lower portion of the exterior is clad in red and blue brick, while the upper portion is tile hung, featuring a central band of fishscale tile hanging across the first floor. The roof is a half-hipped Horsham slab roof with gablets and a rear ridge stack located to the left of the centre. The cottage has two storeys and three leaded casement windows on the first floor, the central window being five-light. A ribbed door is set within a 20th-century brick gabled porch to the left of the centre. A single-storey wing extends to the rear.
