Description
The Lancelyn Club is a building originally constructed as a house in the 17th century, with an early 18th-century front. It features a timber frame at the center, with whitewashed brick cladding below and brick infill above on the first floor to the left, while the timber frame is exposed and whitewashed. The building has a hipped 20th-century plain tiled roof and stands two storeys tall. The facade is regular, with the center refronting that breaks forward between end piers. On the first floor, there is one casement window to the left and four glazing bar sash windows under cambered hoods, alternating between double and single lights. The ground floor windows are similar but are set under canopies. The entrance features six panelled 20th-century double doors in a rendered porch, which has round piers supporting an eyebrow hood above.
