Description

Well Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame made of thin scantling, which is underbuilt in whitewashed brick with additional whitewashed brick infill above. The roof is machine tiled from the 20th century, half-hipped, and tile hung on the right end. The building has two storeys and includes three hipped roofed diamond pane leaded casement dormers that extend through the eaves. There is a rebuilt stack located to the left of the center. On the ground floor, there are three diamond pane leaded casement windows, and a pentice roof extension is present on the left side. Additionally, there are large 20th-century extensions made of tile hanging and brick at right angles to the rear. The main door has been relocated to the right-hand return front.
