Description
Sansomes is a house with an 18th century front that incorporates a 17th century building. It features a timber frame made of thin scantling, with whitewashed render infill, a whitewashed brick front, and tile hung ends. The roof is hipped and covered with Horsham slabs. The house has two storeys and an end stack on the left side. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows with cambered heads, consisting of 20 panes on the outer windows and 16 panes in the center. The ground floor has two 20-pane glazing bar sash windows. A central six-panel door is located in a porch that has a roof made of brick and timber. At the rear, there is a wing that extends at right angles and is constructed of whitewashed brick.
