Description

The garden wall and terrace at Winkworth Farm were built around 1895, possibly designed by Gertrude Jekyll, with spiral steps added by F. Troup in 1914. The structure is made of sandstone rubble and blocks, featuring brick-on-edge and sandstone D Section coping. The garden elevation includes buttresses, with a lower retaining wall and terrace located behind. At the time of the re-survey, the wall was partly demolished and undergoing reconstruction.
