Description

This is a 17th-century barn, now used as a store, located 5 yards southwest of Skinner's Land Farmhouse in Chiddingfold. The barn features a timber frame set on a brick base and is weatherboarded, topped with a plain tile hipped roof. It has a rectangular layout with five bays, constructed using queen strut construction and curved corner bracing. On the east side, there are double carriage doors to the right. To the left, there is a 19th-century single-storey outshot that includes a plank door and flanking casement windows with cambered heads. Additionally, there is a limestone and brick gable front extension at the left end.
