Description

This is a 17th-century barn, now used as a workshop, located 50 yards north of West End Farmhouse in Chiddingfold. The barn features a timber frame built on a brick base, with a weatherboard exterior and a plain tile half-hipped roof. It has 4 to 6 bays and is constructed using queen strut construction with curved corner bracing. The roof timbers were replaced in the 19th century. There are double carriage doors at the center of the north side, and a single-storey outshot is present on the south side.
