Description
Imbhams Farmhouse is a Grade II listed building, likely dating from the late 16th century. The entrance front features a two-storey structure with three windows, comprising a large central room flanked by two smaller rooms. The first floor is timber framed and currently tile hung, while the ground floor is made of red brick from various periods, with original stone visible on the garden front. The roof is gable-ended and tiled, topped with an old brick stack. To the right, there is a two-storey extension from the 18th century constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings, which incorporates a first-floor room from the original house. The windows are diamond leaded casements. The garden front includes a later gabled porch and an added hipped dormer. Inside, the farmhouse features exposed framing, including a side purlin roof supported by multiple queen posts and wind braces.
