- Apart front the formal enclosures to the east and north of the house there are a plot of kitchen garden to the south of the East enclosure and an orchard to the north of the North enclosure, and a plot of garden to the west of the house. All of these are bounded by walls. The boundary wall to the kitchen garden extends along Castle Hill from the south cast corner of the east enclosure as far as the group of houses on the corner between Castle Hill and Old Park Lane. C18, brick with brick capping and brick buttresses at intervals. Arched opening with wrought iron gate with overthrow. Along Old Park Lane, wall of similar date, also of brick with brick capping; small gateway at east end and a further wider gateway at west end. Another wall, much rendered and thereby much altered and also in poor condition, encloses the orchard to the north. In the plot of garden to the west of the house, there is a low brick wall which runs west from the north-west corner of the house and from the midst of which there rises one further wrought iron gate also of scroll and bar pattern.
