SU 94SW ELSTEAD C.P. FULBROOK LANE
5/7 Lodge and Store 17/2/70 North-East of Fulbrook House(formerly listed as Lodge to Fulbrook House) II Lodge and store. 1897 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Coursed, roughdressed Bargate stone with tile on edge dressings, some tile hanging on garage, plain tiled roofs swept out over eaves. Two rectangular buildings facing each other across a paved yard with entrance walls and gates to west end. Cottage in left hand lodge:- 1 storey and attic with two diagonal brick stacks to right end. Two through-eaves gabled dormer windows to yard front, two casements below. Door to right end with flanking margin lights. Gable end to east:- one first floor window and part glazed door to ground floor with arched surround and tile on edge voussoir decoration. Large offset, truncated stack to rear with one small window under tile on edge decoration. Garage/store range to right:- one storey and attic with front stack to left end. Hip-roofed loft door to right over two sets of double doors. Garage door to ground floor centre under wooden lintel. Single door to left. Further door to first floor of gable end to west approached up a flight of external steps.
