Description

Lilac Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has 18th-century cladding. It features timber framing with white-washed brick at the bottom and tile hanging above. The roof is plain tiled and half hipped, with a rear stack positioned to the left of center and another rear stack to the right. The cottage has two storeys and four casement windows on the first floor, while the ground floor has a window to the right that is set under a cambered head. There is a 20th-century ribbed door located to the left of center, which is sheltered by a porch with a whitewashed brick pent roof.
