Description

The Greyhound Public House is a public house that dates back to the 17th century, with a front added in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame with a square panel pattern that is exposed on the return fronts, while the brick infill is color washed. The ground floor front is clad in render, with diamond pattern tiling above. The building has a parallel range of plain tiled roofs, which are lower at the rear. There is a rear ridge stack on the front range to the left and an end ridge stack to the right.

The structure stands two storeys tall, with a moulded band across the ground floor. The first floor has three windows, with the outer windows being three-light casements set in gables that rise through the eaves, featuring decorative bargeboards and billeted tie beams. The central window on the first floor is a two-light window. The ground floor has an irregular arrangement of windows, including two three-light casement windows in projecting surrounds located in the centre and to the right, which break under pent roofs into tiling on the first floor. There are two half-glazed doors located at the left end and left of centre, along with another half-glazed door to the right of centre, which is set in a gabled half-glazed porch that also has decorative bargeboards.
