Description
Drivers Cottages is a house that has been divided, originally built in the 15th century and restored in the 20th century. The structure is timber framed with brown brick cladding below and tile hanging above, some of which features a diamond pattern. It has plain tiled roofs that are hipped with ridge cresting. There are offset end stacks on both the left and right sides. The building was formerly a hall house with a lower gable front cross wing on the left end, creating an L-shaped plan. It stands two storeys tall and has a regular arrangement of windows, with four 3-light windows on each floor. To the left of the center is a ribbed door, and to the right of the center is a glazed door. Inside, heavy beams and frames are visible in the rooms at the ends.
