Description

The Manor is a cottage dating back to the 16th century, with additions from the 17th century and a late 19th-century Gothic-style extension to the left. It is timber framed, with red and blue brick cladding at ground level, brown brick infill in the exposed frame above, and red and brown brick on the left-hand side. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs, featuring an iron ridge cresting, while the extensions to the left have plain tiled roofs. A corbelled brick stack is located at the left end of the original section, with diagonal brick patterning and terracotta pots on top.

The cottage has a first floor and attic, with two hipped roof dormers containing diamond-pane, leaded casement windows. Below, on the ground floor, are two 3-light casement windows. A glazed door is centrally located within a pent-roofed porch that has glazed, leaded sides on brick dado walls. A tile-hung gable is visible on the right-hand return front. There is a catslide extension to the rear. Taller 19th-century extensions are also present to the left, including an angle bay and gables.
