Description
This is a row of cottages dating from the 18th century. The construction comprises a timber frame on a rendered plinth, with whitewashed brick cladding in the lower part and tile hanging above. The roofs are tiled, with a stack at the right-hand end and another on the ridge towards the left side. The cottages are two storeys high, featuring four 19th-century casement windows on the first floor. There are three doors: a 20th-century ribbed door to the left (number 44), a ribbed and boarded door to the right of centre (number 45), and a planked door to the right (number 47). A parallel range extends to the rear on the left-hand side, with a catslide extension to the rear right. Some timber framing is visible in the interior of the rear left section.
