Description

This 16th-century barn is located 2 yards east of Lucas Green Manor House. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weatherboard cladding and brick on the return walls. The barn has a plain tiled half-hipped roof and is rectangular in shape, consisting of three bays. It has central opposing double doors, with the doors on the south side situated in a projecting gable. There are pentice roofed extensions on the return fronts and a catslide roof extension across the rear (north side). This barn is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby manor house.
