Description
House. Built in the early 19th century, it was altered in the later 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick with a low-pitched, hipped slate roof. A rendered and colourwashed addition is present to the front right. The house has a plinth and stacks to the rear left and rear right. The first floor has four 12-pane, glazing-bar sash windows set in moulded boxes, positioned under cambered gauged brick heads. The ground floor has two windows to the left, and a flat-roofed extension projecting to the right with a cornice parapet. A shallow angle bay window is located to the right, featuring stop-chamfered uprights between sashes and sills resting on corbels, along with four-centre and round-head side lights. The front door, composed of six panels, is to the left of the extension, approached by a flight of four steps in a porch recess with Doric piers. The building is included on the list for group value only.
