Description
The Cottage is a house from the 17th century that was extended in the 19th century. It features square panel timber framing set on a brick plinth, with whitewashed brick cladding and infill below, and is tile hung above. The plain tiled roof has front and rear stacks on the right side and a gable end facing the street. The building has two storeys with an attic in the gable, and 19th century casement windows, with one window on each floor to the right. There is a half-glazed door in the centre of the ground floor. On the left side, there is a catslide roof to the centre with a casement window with a cambered head on each side, and a boarded door at the end. The right side, which was the former entrance front, has exposed framing with some thin scantling.
