Description
Priestlands is a house that originated in the 17th century and was remodeled and extended in the 19th century. It features a timber-framed core with whitewashed cladding below and an applied timber frame with decorative bracing above. The roofs are plain tiled, with a hipped roof over the rear wing that has corbelled end ridge stacks. The house has one storey and an attic, which includes three leaded casement lucarne windows. The central entrance is a ribbed door located under a gabled porch hood supported by wooden posts, with rendered dado walls. There is a wing at the rear right that is set at a right angle to the main front, and a catslide roof across the rear left.
Inside, the framing is visible, although it has been restored, primarily consisting of ceiling beams and partition walling.
