Description
The walls and gate piers to the south-east of Priors' Mead are mid-19th century structures made of coursed stone. They line the road on either side, which was once the drive to Merstham House, now demolished. There are three thick stone piers at intervals on each side, with the inner piers featuring ball finials. The thickest pier is attached to Priors' Mead. These features are included for their group value with nearby buildings, such as The Old Manor, Court Cottage, North Cottage, St Nicholas Cottage, and Priors' Mead itself.
