Description
Priors' Mead is a late 17th century house that was formerly the lodge of Merstham House. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring five windows. The front is finished in stucco with a first-floor band and a brick dentil eaves cornice. The south wall is made of stone rubble with red brick dressings. The roof is tiled and includes two 19th-century dormer gables. The first floor has cross casement windows with later brick relieving arches above them. There is also a 19th-century gabled porch. Priors' Mead, along with The Old Manor, Court Cottage, North Cottage, St Nicholas Cottage, and the Walls and Gate Piers to the southeast, form a group of listed buildings.
