Description

Woodman’s Cottage is a late 18th-century house. It has a rendered plinth and double-pitched, plain tile roofs. Two ridge stacks are located behind the house, one on either side of the centre. The two-storey, symmetrical three-bay facade features sash windows with glazing bars. A central panelled door has the top two panels glazed, and a radiating fanlight above. The doorcase is surrounded by Doric pilasters supporting an open pediment. The eaves have a carved modillion cornice. The building has group value with Park Cottage and Wilmot.
