Description

Well Farm House is a house dating back to the 16th century, with significant alterations in the mid-18th century. The original timber frame is largely hidden by a later brick facade, which is rendered under a parapet. The roof is covered with plain tiles, with an off-centre stack to the right and end stacks. The two-storey front has a band above the ground floor and features eight bays of glazing bar sash windows set within architraves. The ground floor windows have gauged brick heads, while the first-floor windows are square. One window is blocked. A Doric doorcase is located on the left-hand side, sheltering a six-panel door set above transom height, with a flat hood above. At the rear, two gabled wings are tile-hung.
