Description

Brook Farm Barn is an 18th-century barn located in Dorking. It is constructed with a timber frame resting on a brick and stone plinth, and the exterior is covered in weatherboarding with a gabled roof made of plain tiles. The south side features central full-height double doors, while a small window has been added to the west gable. Inside, the barn consists of three bays, with a wall frame that includes diagonal braces above the midrail, and a queenpost roof supported by purlins and original rafters. This barn has undergone minor alterations and is grouped with its former farmhouse.
