Description
The garden pool, located approximately 10 metres southeast of the southeast front of Cherkley Court, dates from the late 19th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and measures about 12 metres long and 6 metres wide, oriented on a north-south axis. The pool features a flight of steps leading down into it at the end closest to the house, while the opposite end has a bow shape. It is surrounded by a low moulded edge adorned with shallow gadrooned urns. This structure is included for its group value with the main house.
