Description

Elm Cottages is a terrace of six cottages dating from the early 19th century, located on Byttom Hill, Mickleham. The cottages have a hipped slate roof with four small stacks. They are rendered in roughcast. The symmetrical arrangement features seven windows to each floor. The windows consist of four sash windows with glazing bars, two one-light casement windows with glazing bars, and one three-light casement window at the north-eastern end. Doorways have narrow, fluted architraves, decorated wooden panels above, and flat hoods. Four doors retain their original flush panels, while the others have been modernized.
