Description
The former stables to More Place are now two cottages, originally built in the late 17th century. They were restored in the 19th century and converted and extended in the 20th century. The structure is timber framed with thin scantling, now clad in red brick and featuring some tile hanging. It has a plain tiled roof and is positioned at right angles to the street. The building is one storey high with attics, which are accentuated by three gabled on-eaves dormers, each with loft doors. There are four lunette windows on the front and five 20th-century windows at the rear. The ends have doors with gabled porches over the rear doors. This building is included in the listing for its group value only.
