Description
This is a row of five cottages located on Rose Lane, built in the late 18th century in the "Gothick" style. The cottages are constructed of brown brick with brick dressings and feature a hipped plain tiled roof. They stand two storeys high and have a regular front with four ridge stacks, two located at the center and two at the ends. The first floor has five pointed arched casement windows with Y tracery, some of which are beaded. The ground floor also has five windows. The doors are positioned with one to the left for No. 14, one right of center for No. 12, and one to the right for No. 10. The doors for No. 8 and No. 16 are located at the side or rear. This row of cottages is included for its group value.
