Description
Chapel Farm House is a house that dates from the 16th century on the right side, with 19th century extensions to the left. It features a timber frame that is underbuilt in colour-washed brick, with exposed brick infill above. The left extensions are made of brick, and the roofs are plain tiled. The house is two storeys high with end stacks on the right and a rendered offset stack on the left. It has an L-shaped plan with a wing that projects to the left.
On the right side, there are three framed bays that represent a former "Wealden" type, with curved bracing on the first floor. The first floor has three 19th century sash windows, while the ground floor on the right has one window. The left extension features a plot band over the ground floor, with one sash window on each floor. At the junction of the wings in the re-entrant angle, there is a half-glazed door beneath a flat hood. The garden front has a tile-hung gable to the left, with two cambered head windows on the first floor left and one sash window on the right.
