Description

The Vicarage is a house dating to the late 18th century at the rear and the early 19th century at the front. It is constructed of brick with an incised, whitewashed render to the front, and has plain tiled roofs, with a mansard roof to the rear. The house has a double pile plan with parallel range roofs. It is two storeys high, with ridge stacks at each end. The ends have channelled rustication and a parapet above. To the front are three bays, with three 12-pane glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two windows below. The central door is a four-panel design, set within a surround with moulded jambs and a block impost. Above the door is a round, keystoned arch over a traceried fanlight. A screen wall to the right curves forward, with a channelled and rusticated end pier.
