Description
This is a barn located 30 yards southeast of Bakers Gate in Pirbright, built in the 17th century with an 18th-century extension at the rear. The barn has been restored in the 20th century and is currently used as a store. It features a timber frame that is exposed on the left side of the ground floor, with brick infill on a cement and rendered brick plinth. The upper part of the building is clad in weatherboard on both floors to the right end. The roof is plain tiled and steps down to the right, with a half-hipped section over the rear extension. The barn is rectangular in shape and has one small casement window facing the street. There is an entrance on the right-hand return front and a small wing that extends at right angles to the rear. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
