Description
Little Ford Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It is timber-framed, with the ground floor on the left underbuilt in colourwashed brick, while the first floor frame and gable bay to the right are finished with colourwashed brick and render infill. The roof is plain tiled. The building has a T-shaped plan with a gable front cross wing to the right and an end stack to the left. It has two storeys with an attic in the gable. On the left, there are two framed bays featuring curved first floor bracing. The first floor has two casement windows on the left and one in the gabled wing, along with a 5-light mullioned attic window. The ground floor on the left has two windows, and there is a planked door to the left of centre, which is sheltered by a penticed hood. There is a lower extension at the left end of the house.
