Description
The Hame is a 17th-century house located on Blackheath Lane in Albury. It features a timber-framed structure that is clad in red brick at the front, with exposed timber framing on the gable end to the right and tile hanging on the left-hand gable. The house has a plain tiled roof and stands two storeys high. It consists of two framed bays and has a rendered, offset stack at the left end. On the first floor, there are two casement windows, while the ground floor has a small single light window to the right. There is a weatherboarded extension with a pentice roof at the right end of the house, and the entrance door is positioned to the right of centre.
Inside, the house features a deep brick fireplace and exposed ceiling timbers on both floors.
