Description

The village sign in Albury is a signpost dating from the late 19th century and designed in a Gothic style. It stands approximately 8 feet high and features a hexagonal post that tapers towards the top. The sign has a finial decorated with metal foliage and includes tracery arcading on the post, adorned with scrolls at the top. Wooden "finger" posts are supported by iron brackets. This sign is included in the listing for its group value context.
