SU 99 49SW GUILDFORD PORTSMOUTH ROAD (East Side)

7/175 Nos. 73 (The Haven) 13/1/72 and 75 GV II Handed, cottage pair. Early C19. Incised colourwashed render cladding to front, brown brick return walls and hipped slate roofs. Taller central block flanked by lower, battlemented, set-back wings. Two storeys with centre stack. Two 4- centre arched-head casement windows on each floor of centre block; each of two lights with intersecting Gothick ogee tracery. One 2-light window on first floor of each side bay with blind, 4-centre arched head over. Half-glazed and panelled door to left in flat-roofed C19 wooden porch. (No 73). Half-glazed and panelled door to right (No 75) under intersecting,ogee-traceried fanlight in early C19 trellis-work porch with spade shaped finial to gable apex.
