Description
Orchard Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 16th century, which was extended to the right in the 20th century. It features a timber frame that is exposed above a rendered plinth, with whitewashed brick infill. The extensions to the right are designed to imitate timber framing and are finished in painted brick. The roofs are plain tiled and hipped over the extensions. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of two framed bays with an end stack on the left side. There are two casement windows on both the first and ground floors of the original structure. A ribbed door is located in an open pentice porch to the right, which is set back at the junction with the 20th-century extensions.
