Description
The service block to Woodcote End House, dating from the late 18th century, is a two-storey building located on the east side of Woodcote Road in Epsom. The north elevation, which faces Woodcote End House, is constructed of red brick and features a projecting center beneath a pediment. This area has a blocked center window and is flanked by round-headed niches made of rubber brick, which have decorative bands and paterae above them. A cornice runs above this section, and there is a parapet at the top. The flanking parts of the building also have similar blocked round-headed windows. The elevation facing Westcote Road has a hipped clay tile roof. The service block is part of a group that includes Queen Anne House, the garden wall, Woodcote End House, and Nos 7 to 11 (odd).
