Description
The Bungalow is a service block that has been converted into a house, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building is single-storey with a cement-rendered plinth and a dentil brick eaves cornice. There is a central brick ridge stack and an additional brick stack at the rear. The structure has two bays, each with 16-pane glazing bar sashes that have painted stone cills and gauged-brick heads. The entrance is located at the rear. To the left, there is a short section of wall topped with stone coping, which includes a boarded door set within an elliptical gauged-brick archway. This building was formerly the service block for Cherwell House, which it adjoins.
