Description
No. 15 Dodington is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is rendered and features banded rustication on the ground floor, with a slate roof above. The building has three storeys and includes a plinth with a moulded top, a first-floor cill band, and end pilaster strips. There are integral brick stacks at each end. The façade consists of three bays with glazing bar sash windows: 16-pane on the ground floor, 12-pane on the first floor, and 6-pane on the second floor. These windows have painted stone cills and moulded architraves on the ground and first floors. The central door has four raised and fielded panels with central beading, a rectangular overlight with margin lights, and panelled reveals and soffit. An Ionic porch with fluted columns and unfluted pilasters supports an entablature, with three slate steps leading up to the door. The interior has not been inspected.
