Description
The stable block to Woodcote Grove, built in the late 18th century, is constructed from yellow stock brick and features a hipped slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and has an ashlar parapet. The building consists of six bays and a frontispiece, which is separated by pilasters that do not have capitals or bases. The right-hand three bays contain a range of segment-headed 19th-century windows, while the other bays are blind. The frontispiece projects forward and includes a round arch with moulded inposts and panelled double doors. This is flanked by Tuscan columns that support an attic storey adorned with three blind panels, a moulded cornice, and a blocking course.
