Description
This 18th-century boundary wall originally formed part of the garden walls of Westgate House, formerly known as Woodcote Place in Chalk Lane. The wall comprises a straight section of brickwork in Flemish bond, with two curved sections in header bond. It is ramped up on the right-hand side and sits on a plinth. Two square brick gatepiers mark the ends of the wall; one features a stone finial with fluted embellishment, while the other is obscured by ivy.
